Task & responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
• Develop, refine and execute an exciting Indian/fusion food menu
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards are met
• Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
• Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen costs effectively
• Work closely with management on menu planning and specials

Qualification & experience

• Experience in a commercial kitchen setting (1–2 years minimum preferred)
• Formal Qualification (Minimum Certificate IV AQF or minimum 1-2 years’ Experience)
• Strong foundation in Indian cuisine – street food or regional knowledge a plus
• Passion for innovation and presentation
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
