Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled Chef and Cook candidates to join our kitchen team. This advertisement is for multiple positions; successful candidates may be hired as either a Chef or a Cook depending on experience and qualifications. The roles involve preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality Indian dishes while maintaining kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities – Chef:

Lead the kitchen and prepare authentic Indian cuisine.

Menu planning, ingredient preparation, and stock management.

Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.

Ensure food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities – Cook:

Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes under the Chef’s guidance.

Assist with ingredient preparation, menu execution, and stock management.

Maintain food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required:

Expertise in Indian cuisine is essential.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant environment.

Certificate IV or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented.
