Chef

About the Role 

As our Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, developing and delivering a consistent, high-quality menu, and ensuring all food is prepared in line with safety and hygiene standards. You will play a key role in enhancing our reputation for quality pub meals and creating a memorable dining experience for our patrons. 

Key Responsibilities

● Plan and prepare high-quality meals in line with our menu 

● Develop new menu items and seasonal specials 

● Manage food costs, stock levels, and ordering 

● Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, safety, and cleanliness 

● Supervise and train kitchen staff 

● Work collaboratively with the management team to enhance overall guest satisfaction skills and experience

● Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a pub or bistro setting

● Strong culinary skills and passion for quality food

● Excellent time management and organisational skills 

● Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

● Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance 

● Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a small team
