Beauty Therapist

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Diploma of Beauty Therapy 

At least 1 year of relevant experience.

The ability to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, show empathy, and handle client concerns professionally.

The skill to manage appointments efficiently, stay on schedule, and organise the workstation to keep the business running smoothly.

The ability to assess a client's specific skin type, condition, or hair needs to recommend the most suitable treatments and products.

Knowing how to use and maintain various tools (such as facial machines, waxing pots, and sterilisers) and understanding the ingredients and effects of different beauty products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing various face and body treatments, including facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, head spa and hair removal (waxing, electrolysis).

Conducting skin analyses, evaluating clients' beauty needs, and recommending suitable treatments and products.

Having a thorough understanding of different beauty products and techniques to provide advice on skincare and makeup.

Recommending and cross-selling beauty products and additional treatments to clients.

Welcoming clients, managing appointments, and building positive relationships to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

Updating client records and managing inventory.

Sterilising tools and equipment, and ensuring all work areas are clean and hygienic.
