Barista

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Barista candidates to help us continue delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our valued customers. KEY TASKS:

• Operate coffee machines and related equipment to craft a variety of hot and cold beverages.
• Grind coffee beans and measure precise amounts to ensure consistent quality for each order.
• Froth and steam milk to create specialty drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and other beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of coffee machines, equipment, and workstations to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Manage inventory by restocking coffee beans, milk, flavored syrups, and other supplies as needed.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable recommendations to customers about coffee options and menu items.
• Prepare, serve, and sell a range of coffee drinks and light snacks to customers.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the cash register efficiently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least AQF Certificate II/III qualification in relevant industry
• At least 1 year of experience as a barista or in a similar hospitality role
• Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation, including the ability to operate coffee machines and grinders
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and techniques
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
