As a Tory Burch Assistant Store Manager, you are the ultimate ambassador of our brand. We are now seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join us for the new store at our historic Sydney QVB location

Implement a strong clienteling initiatives aligned with the Brand Strategy to strengthen customer relationships and increase customer spending
Ensure the Selling Flow is consistently executed. Act as a role model using storytelling to develop an emotional connection for customers with the brand and promote brand loyalty
Playing a leadership role on the sales floor whilst ensuring the highest level of customer experience
Represent the Brand
Emulate the brand aesthetic & embody a strong sense of fashion sensibility and an enthusiastic attitude
Oversee the development of clientele by designing & supporting strategic initiatives that build our customer base & increase repeat business
Take ownership for maintaining the Tory Burch aesthetic across all touch points including associate presentation, dress code, visual standards, maintenance and merchandising to create a fully branded environment
Contribute to the community in a way that is aligned with Tory Burch social responsibility initiatives & that helps us reach new customers & build brand awareness
Generate new ideas & apply an entrepreneurial spirit to help build & continuously improve the business
Keep up to date on stock situation and proactively work with Buying & Planning Department on stock consolidation and transfers
Ensure interior and exterior image of the store is maintained according to VM Company guidelines and collaborate with VM to maximize store product availability
Operational Excellence
Consistently adhere to all operational procedures
Proficient user of all core systems & technologies including but not limited to POS, i-Pad & Microsoft Word applications
Enforce our people’s policies & ensure accurate and timely processing of employee paperwork Protect our assets by adhering to all loss prevention and operational policies & procedures
Manage inventory movement by ensuring the accurate & timely processing of mark-downs, transfers & consolidations, receiving and POS transactions
Ensure strong partnership with your Department Manager and other Corporate Partners to ensure alignment & timely two-way communication
Drive the Business & Deliver Results
Achieve KPI’S: Annual Sales vs. Budget, Cross Selling & Upselling, Avg. Ticket, Store Conversion rate
Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve the overall sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity and monitoring stores profitability
Build up a network to promote brand awareness and develop business using all relevant data and the benchmarking of competitors
Lead the team on the sales floor during daily store activities to optimize team member productivity and make sure additional selling and cross-selling skills are known and mastered
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Diploma holder or above in any disciplines (business or fashion related discipline is a plus)
6+ years’ experience in a luxury fashion retail operation, in which at least 6+ years in shop management level or 2+ years as a supervisor levels or Assistant Store Manager
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Sales driven and goal oriented
Proven track record in managing retail boutiques and building up a strong sales team with high morale
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Polished and professional
Extensive experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Ability to prioritize and excellent follow-up skills
Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
