About the Role

As a Senior Media Officer, you will play a key role in developing and delivering media and communications strategies to support the agency's activities, products, and strategic objectives. You will work collaboratively in a team of specialists to craft narratives, manage media engagements, and ensure the agency's messaging is impactful and consistent.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective media and communication strategies.
• Craft compelling narratives and positive media stories.
• Generate strategic content for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse, evaluate, and report on media engagement metrics.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and 5+ years' media sector experience.
• A strong understanding of the current media landscape.
• Exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Other Details

• Full-time role (37.5 hrs/week) with a shared on-call weekend roster.
• Australian citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain Baseline clearance.
• Travel may be required.
