The Retail Manager is responsible for organising and controlling the day-to-day operations of Callum Crepes. The position oversees retail operations, staff, stock management, purchasing, sales, customer service, pricing, financial administration and promotional activities to ensure the business operates efficiently and achieves its commercial objectives.

Task & Responsibilities
- Overseas and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the retail establishment, ensuring efficient service delivery and smooth business operations.
- Manage and supervise staff, including recruitment, rostering, training, performance monitoring and staff development.
- Establishes and maintains workplace processes and operational guidelines to improve the efficiency and consistency of business activities.
- Reviews of sales performance and financial information to identify trends, assess business results and support informed operational decisions.
- Oversee financial activities by preparing budgets, monitoring expenditure and maintaining appropriate financial reports and records.
- Maintains effective supplier partnerships and negotiates purchasing terms, pricing and supply arrangements to support the business’s operational requirements.
- Coordinates promotional initiatives and customer engagement strategies to increase sales and encourage repeat business.
- Handles customer concerns and service issues promptly, maintaining consistent service standards and positive customer experiences.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- At least AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate degree (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
- At least 1 year’s full-time experience as a Retail/Store Manager preferred
- Retail Operations Management: Ability to organise and manage daily store operations and maintain service standards.
- Inventory Management: Skills in determining product mix, monitoring stock levels and managing purchasing.
- Sales and Marketing: Ability to promote products, set prices, implement marketing strategies and assist customers.
- Financial Management: Skills in budgeting, maintaining financial records and monitoring transactions.
- Staff Management and Leadership: Ability to recruit, train and supervise employees while ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
