SAI 1 Pty Ltd is a transport company based in Greenbank, Queensland. We are seeking an organised, reliable and motivated Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and office operations of our growing transport business.
This is a full-time position suited to someone who can work independently, coordinate multiple administrative functions and support management and operational staff in maintaining efficient business operations

Task & responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day administration of the office and assisting management with planning and improving office systems, procedures and service standards.
- Organising office resources, including staff support, workspace, equipment and administrative requirements, to ensure smooth business operations.
- Coordinating the workload of administrative staff and providing guidance to ensure tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintaining and reviewing company records, accounts documentation, invoices, employee files and other administrative records.
- Liaising with accountants, service providers, suppliers, customers and other professional advisers to coordinate office matters and resolve administrative or operational issues.
- Ensuring office equipment, stationery and other workplace supplies are available, maintained and replaced when required.
- Assisting management in maintaining workplace procedures that support health, safety and general workplace compliance.
- Monitoring office practices and documentation to ensure administrative activities are carried out in accordance with relevant company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating staff administration, including recruitment support, onboarding, employee records, leave information, payroll documentation, training arrangements and performance-related administration.
- Supporting management with staff scheduling, allocation of administrative responsibilities and general supervision of office-based activities.
- Preparing and maintaining business correspondence, reports, operational records and other documentation required for the transport business
- Managing appointments, meetings, correspondence and other general office coordination requirements.
Qualification & experience
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in office management, administration or a closely related role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- Good computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and general business administration systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, drivers, customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Experience within the transport, logistics or similar industry will be highly regarded.
