Shreeji Polyurethane Pty Ltd is an established engineering and manufacturing business supplying moulded polyurethane foam products since 1984. The company manufactures moulded polyurethane foam and cast elastomer products for the furniture, packaging and other specialist industries.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Planner plans, coordinates and schedules maintenance activities, resources and work programs to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of plant, equipment and facilities.

The role involves developing maintenance schedules, coordinating resources and materials, reviewing maintenance requirements, and supporting the timely completion of planned and corrective maintenance work.

Task & responsibilities

·  Plan, schedule and coordinate preventive, corrective and planned maintenance activities.

·  Develop maintenance work schedules based on equipment requirements, operational priorities and available resources.

·  Coordinate labour, materials, tools, equipment and contractors required to complete maintenance work.

·  Review maintenance requests, work orders and equipment history to determine work requirements and priorities.

·  Prepare detailed job plans, including required resources, materials, tools, procedures and estimated timeframes.

·  Monitor maintenance schedules and coordinate with operational teams to minimise equipment downtime.

·  Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, schedules and equipment information.

·  Liaise with maintenance supervisors, technicians, engineers, suppliers and contractors to ensure effective work execution.

·  Identify potential maintenance requirements and support preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.

·  Review completed maintenance work and update schedules, records and future maintenance requirements accordingly.

·  Assist with maintenance planning, shutdowns, major repairs and scheduled servicing activities.

·  Ensure maintenance activities are planned in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant technical standards.

Qualification & experience

·  Diploma or above level relevant qualification in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·  Previous experience of at least one year in maintenance planning, scheduling or coordination within an industrial, manufacturing or engineering environment.

·  Experience developing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and work plans.

·  Knowledge of maintenance management systems, work orders, equipment records and maintenance procedures.

·  Ability to coordinate labour, materials, tools, equipment and contractors effectively.

·  Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

·  Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with maintenance, operations and technical teams.
