Duties/Responsibilities:

• Measure, mark, cut and prepare metal components for installation.
• Assemble, fit and install steel frames, structures and components.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read and follow basic plans, measurements and specifications.
• Align, secure and adjust components as required.
• Assist with repairs, modifications and maintenance of equipment and structures.
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all WHS requirements and site procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous fitting, assembly, fabrication or construction experience.
• Good practical and mechanical skills.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a team.
• Current White Card.
• Driver licence desirable.
