We are seeking skilled and reliable Carpenters who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and demonstrates strong attention to detail.  As our business is rapidly growing in-and-around Melbourne - we have vacancies available for 4 full-time Carpenters.

The successful candidate will be confident using a range of carpentry tools and equipment and will work as part of an experienced construction team. 

The role will involve a broad range of residential & commercial construction activities, including detailed carpentry, general site duties, and supporting other construction works as required to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Task & responsibilities

As a full-time Carpenter your key tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, siding, cladding and external finishes, and finishing work to a high standard
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects
• Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Assist with the installation of cabinetry, doors, windows, and other architectural components
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs as required
• Build scaffolding and other temporary structures to facilitate building construction
• Maintain clean and organised workspaces
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment
• Complete all tasks in compliance with relevant safety regulations and quality standards
• Projects include - Residential & Commercial work, renovations and extensions, decking and external carpentry, framing, fix-out and General carpentry and rectification work.  

Qualification & experience

• Certificate 3 in Carpentry (Mandatory)
• Certificate 4 in Building & Construction (Preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of Full-time experience as a Carpenter
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
