La’Hair Lounge located in Alice Springs NT requires full-time Qualified Hairdressers

and Barbers to join our family and work in our very busy ,appointment-based salon.

Full-time Salary on offer $70,000-$85,000 plus superannuation and leave loading.

Those applying must be able to fulfil the following roles:·

· Closely follow safety, sanitation, and health standards.

· Helping the customers in assessing their needs and suggest hair

products/services accordingly

· Cut and trim hair according to customer’s instructions, listening to

specifications and asking questions to make sure the customer gets their

desired hairstyle using scissors, clippers, and razors

· Shampooing, Conditioning, drying hair and apply other products to aid in

straightening, curling or other styling

· Colouring, highlighting, straightening or other styling including dreadlocks,

braids and hair extensions as per customer’s request using appropriate &

relevant chemical products

· Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches with scissors and razors

· Maintaining clean, safe and sanitized work area & instruments· Greeting the

clients, arranging appointments, and collecting payments

· Provide other related duties as advised by management

Skills and Experience

· Minimum qualifications AQF Certificate Ill Hairdressing or equivalent

· 2 years of relevant experience

Other requirements

· A friendly personality and positive attitude, be a team player

· Well-groomed and well presented

· Excellent communication skills including English language skills

· Prepared live in Alice Springs, if not already

· To be a reliable person with good references

· Part-time and Casual also available.
