Task & responsibilities

1. Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items while maintaining consistent food quality and presentation.

2. Assisting with menu planning, updates and the preparation of daily food production.

3. Inspect foodstuffs and preparing ingredients through washing, cutting, peeling, marinating.

4. Preparing sauces, salad dressings, spices and other food components using freshly ingredients.

5. Portioning, plating and garnishing dishes according to menu requirements and presentation standards.

6. Monitoring and maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

7. Select and preparation of vegetables, meat and other fresh ingredients for everyday food preparation.

8. Receiving, storing and rotating food stock appropriately, including monitoring kitchen equipment and food storage temperatures.

9. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.

10. Assisting and working collaboratively with kitchen team members while maintaining efficient operations and standards.
