As an Early Childhood Teacher at Ascolta Early Learning & Care, you will plan and deliver engaging educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment, assess and document children's progress, build positive relationships with families, and ensure compliance with the EYLF, National Quality Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Task & responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement educational programs that support the learning, development and wellbeing of children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Observe, assess and document children's learning and development, maintaining accurate records and individual learning plans.
• Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development through play-based and inquiry-led learning experiences.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and positive engagement.
• Support children's language, literacy, numeracy and social skills through age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with educators, families and external professionals to support each child's individual learning and development needs.
• Guide and mentor educators in the implementation of educational programs and best-practice teaching approaches.
• Monitor children's progress and prepare developmental reports for families and centre management.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, centre policies and all relevant health, safety and child protection requirements.
• Participate in curriculum planning, centre events, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor level degree or higher
• Current Working with Children Check
• Demonstrated experience delivering educational programs within an early childhood setting
• Excelling communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
