Task & responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to established recipes and quality standards
• Prepare ingredients including cutting, portioning, seasoning and mise en place
• Operate cooking equipment including woks, grills and steamers
• Portion, plate and garnish dishes according to restaurant standards
• Prepare food for dietary requirements and follow food safety procedures
• Store food correctly and assist with stock rotation and stock control
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
• Work harmoniously with chefs and kitchen staff during preparation and service 

Qualification & experience

• Food safety certificate
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Wok experience highly advantageous 
• Asian cuisine knowledge advantageous
