Chef – Julia’s Restaurant

Location: Ringwood North, VIC

Employment: Full-time

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year

Julia’s Ringwood North, VIC, popular for its Italian food and lively bar with standout cocktails, and an open kitchen, is seeking a Chef to help deliver consistently excellent food for our dine-in guests and group bookings.

Key duties

• Prepare and cook menu dishes, including wood-fired pizzas, pasta and other restaurant offerings.
• Daily food preparation and coordinate service to maintain quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor the presentation, flavour and portion consistency of dishes before service.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials, including costing ingredients.
• Order ingredients, monitor stock levels and minimise food waste.
• Guide kitchen staff and maintain food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards.
• Plan menu

Qualification required: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a higher relevant qualification

Experience: 1 year plus experience in a busy kitchen
