Agricultural Mobile Plant Operator

Tallerack Farming Pty Ltd [ABN 19 634 063 380] located in Cascades approx. 100 km northwest of Esperance WA, is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible full-time Agricultural Mobile Plant Operator to join our mixed cropping and livestock operation

The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Safely and efficiently operate and maintain a range of agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, sprayers, and other mobile plant equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, such as greasing, replacing worn parts, checking oil and coolant levels, and changing hydraulic hoses.
• Independently carry out specialised tasks such as tillage, fertiliser spreading, soil amelioration, clay spreading, stump and rock picking.
• Operate HR truck (if licensed) and manage air seeders and spraying equipment as required.
• Operate harvest equipment, including harvesters, chaser bins and perform grain logistics during harvest season.
• Assist with various workshop and yard tasks, including fencing, tree site preparation, and tree planting.
• Maintain fences and water points
• Communicate effectively with employers and team members to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

To be successful in the role you will have the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience of 1 to 4 years operating agricultural machinery, mobile plant equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of modern farming practices and crop management techniques.
• Valid driver's license and relevant machinery operation certifications (if applicable).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

The role is full time and permanent, offering an annual salary between $75,000 and $85,000 for the right candidate.
