We are seeking an experienced Chef, that will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to help run day-to-day kitchen operations, maintain high food standards, and support the wider kitchen team, with a strong focus on woodfired cooking. This is a hands-on role, with real opportunity for growth. Regular weekend work is expected.

Task & responsibilities

• Daily kitchen operations
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff and apprentices
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance

Qualification & experience

• Trade-qualified chef (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Chef in a high volume kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, organised, and team-oriented
