The Tin Pin Bakery Pty Ltd, is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our bakery shop. This is a full-time position suited to someone with strong retail operations, team leadership and customer service experience.

Task & responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop and ensure efficient and consistent service delivery.

● Supervise, roster, train and support the bakery staff to maintain high standards of performance and customer service.

● Monitor product mix, stock levels and inventory requirements to ensure sufficient supplies while minimizing waste.

● Manage purchasing and liaise with suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels and product availability.

● Monitor and analyze sales performance, operating expenses and other financial transactions.

● Prepare and manage shop budgets and implement cost-control measures.

● Develop and implement pricing, promotional and marketing activities in line with business objectives and brand requirements.

● Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, cleanliness and customer service.

● Handle escalated customer enquiries and complaints and ensure issues are resolved professionally.

● Maintain accurate records relating to stock, sales and store operations.

● Ensure stores comply with workplace health and safety, food safety and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualification & experience

● At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail, hospitality or store management.

● Relevant Qualification in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

● Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.

● Good understanding of stock control, sales performance and day-to-day retail operations.

● Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage a busy retail environment.
