Task & responsibilities

• Manage the overall daily operations of the hostel, including front Office, housekeeping maintenance, and guest services. 
• Supervise and coordinate staff rosters, training, and performance to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. 
• Oversee reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations using property management systems.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and occupancy rates to maximise profitability and operational efficiency. 
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, fire, and accommodation regulations. 
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and promptly address guest feedback or complaints. Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract guests and maintain a strong online reputation.
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed

Qualification & experience

• 2 - 3 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in hostels or hotels. 
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Financial acumen, with experience handling budgets and financial operations. 
• Problem-solving skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
