Task & responsibilities

The ideal candidate will posses a deep understanding of Indian cuisine along with strong management skills to ensure a smooth functioning of all the kitchen operations on day-to-day basis. We are 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian dishes according to restaurant standards.
• Ensure all the food safety and sanitation standards are met regularly.
• Manage kitchen operations and staff .
• Create new menu delicacies as per restaurant's standards.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies.
• Collaborate with management to improve menu offerings and operational efficiency.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Full-time Chef in a similar environment (Indian cuisine preferred).
• Strong understanding of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and traditional recipes.
• AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Certificate 4 in Kitchen Management - Required
• Diploma of Hospitality Management - Preferred
