One of Australia's largest franchised noodle restaurant chain, with a network of more than 100 stores across the country is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of its Kings Meadows store on a full-time basis.

Position Overview:

The Retail Manager is responsible for the strategic management, operations, and financial performance of the store. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong retail or hospitality management experience, sound financial acumen, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Task & responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and financial forecasts to meet sales and profitability targets
• Lead day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and relevant regulatory standards
• Manage inventory, stock control, and cost-effective operational practices
• Recruit, train, and manage staff, including shift supervisors and crew members, to build a high-performing team
• Analyse sales trends, pricing, and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement
• Implement local marketing initiatives to grow sales and enhance customer satisfaction
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts and pricing

Qualification & experience

• Diploma or Certificate IV in Management, Business, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a managerial role in retail, hospitality, or fast-food/QSR operations
• Proven leadership and people management skills, including workforce planning and staff development
• Strong financial management and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting, reporting, and profit optimisation
• Working knowledge of WHS, food safety, and relevant retail/hospitality compliance standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
