Task & responsibilities

• Maintain workflow by monitoring and setting processing variables. Inspect production process, observe critical control points, and facilitate corrections to malfunctions within the process to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
• Monitor personnel, analysing workforce and resource utilisation; initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between business units.
• Establish work measurement programs and analyse work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation.
• Analyse facility layout, performance, and operational data according to production schedules to determine optimum production results and propose new equipment to improve efficiencies.
• Develop specifications for manufacture and determine materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities, and layout of plant and systems to ensure optimal operation of the process.
• Create and revise systems and procedures by analysing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements.
• Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
• Other tasks as may be occasionally required.

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification at the level of a Bachelor’s degree or higher, OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Worksafe Victoria Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Forklift Licence)
• First Aid including CPR Certificate
