Key Responsibilities include:

• tracking and monitoring sales data and stock levels
• researching suppliers and market information to keep informed and up to date regarding changing market conditions and purchasing options and deals
• Negotiating cost price, product purchases, quantities, deliveries, promotion, trading terms and other supply arrangements with suppliers. 
• Liaising with higher level management on long-term product planning and stock levels for promotions and sales across multiple brands and locations across the Westpoint Autos Group.
• initiating stock financial plans according to yearly and budgetary requirements in the changing and dynamic Australian automotive industry. 
• Researching and anticipating customer needs to aid the sales managers and dealer principals in planning, analysing and purchasing new vehicles from Manufacturers/Distributors monthly which is also in line with the company forecasts, sales trends and dealership targets.
• Determining product types, quantities, timing and locations across the dealership and network. 
• Determining the deletion and clearance strategies of old aged stock to reduce excess inventory overheads and maximise Westpoint’s overall profitability margin.
• Liaise with Manufacturer's regarding vehicle purchase, deliveries and transfers
• you must have minimum Diploma Qualification + 1 year work experience in a similar role

• Previous experience in retail buying, stock control, inventory coordination or supply chain within a retail dealership environment
