As our Sales Representative covering NSW and the ACT, you will be the primary point of contact for our reseller network in metropolitan Sydney and surrounding regions, while actively growing our footprint across regional NSW and the ACT. You will represent our full range of GDS industrial gate automation products including sliding gate systems, swing gate operators, boom gates, and access control solutions to installers, contractors, commercial clients and government buyers.

This role requires a self-motivated professional who can build and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide technical sales support across a broad and established territory. Comprehensive product training will be provided.

Task & responsibilities

• Managing and developing relationships with key resellers and installers across the NSW and ACT market
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with commercial, industrial and government clients
• Presenting and demonstrating the full range of Nice Australia GDS industrial automation products
• Preparing quotes, responding to client enquiries and providing timely after-sales support
• Meeting and exceeding agreed territory sales targets and KPIs
• Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and pipeline in the company CRM
• Attending industry events, trade shows and client site visits as required
• Providing market feedback and reporting on territory performance to senior management
• Liaising with the Adelaide operations team to coordinate orders, deliveries and technical support

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial, technical or trade product sales
• Proven ability to manage a geographic sales territory and develop client relationships
• Strong product knowledge in automation, industrial equipment, or related technical products preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a broad territory with minimal supervision
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, sales or a related field desirable but not essential
