STOP LOAFING PTY LTD is seeking multiple qualified and experienced Bakers to join its Bakers Delight teams across Warriewood, Brookvale and Freshwater. Task & responsibilities

• Preparing, mixing, kneading, cutting, shaping and baking bread, rolls, pastries and specialty products in accordance with Bakers Delight recipes and quality standards
• Monitoring the quality of raw ingredients, dough and finished products
• Checking fermentation, proving times, oven temperatures and baking times
• Operating commercial ovens, mixers and other baking equipment safely and efficiently
• Planning daily production requirements and meeting output targets
• Managing stock levels and assisting with ingredient ordering and stock rotation
• Minimising wastage and maintaining accurate production records
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic bakery environment
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
• Supervising, training and mentoring apprentice bakers and junior team members when required

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Baking, Certificate III in Bread Baking, or an equivalent trade qualification
• At least two years of relevant experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery environment
• Sound knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proving and baking techniques
• Experience operating commercial baking equipment
• Ability to consistently produce bakery products to a high standard
• Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
