Kevin Homes is looking for an experienced Painter for a full-time position with an immediate start. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces with quality finish. Attention to detail to deliver all projects to a professional standard.

Task & responsibilities

• Surface preparation, coatings, and finishing.
• Interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial buildings.
• Working safely on active construction and maintenance sites.
• Following site safety procedures and compliance requirements.
• Collaborating with the team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
• Setting up of safe access equipment like ladder or scaffolding and to cover the nearby areas to keep them clean and protected.
• Mix and prepare paints and coatings to the required colour, consistency and finish using appropriate pigments, thinners and additives.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality is maintained and carry out touch-ups where necessary.
• Maintaining painting tools and other equipment and ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and organised.
• Storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations and disposing of waste properly

Qualification & experience

AQF Certificate III 

At least two years of relevant work experience.
