About Company
Hardy's Childcare Pty Ltd - Gumnuts Early Learning Centre is a family-owned and operated early childhood education provider committed to delivering high quality care and early learning for children aged 0 to 5 years. The Centre embraces a philosophy grounded in family, community, and education, placing each child’s voice, interests, and developmental needs at the heart of daily practice.
Gumnuts provides a nurturing, holistic environment inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Educational programs follow the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS), ensuring that every child receives age-appropriate and developmentally sound learning experiences. Children are grouped by age in purposefully designed rooms, from nursery and toddlers through pre-kindergarten, culminating in a structured kindergarten program that prepares children for school entry.
Our centres include thoughtfully planned indoor classrooms and outdoor play environments, featuring garden areas, art atelier spaces, and natural settings that promote exploration, creativity, and physical development through play, sensory learning, and nature-based experiences.
We also prioritise strong partnerships with families. Educators maintain ongoing communication, provide pedagogical documentation, and regularly engage with parents to support and enrich each child’s learning journey.
Our ethos is built on respect for childhood, individual potential, and community connection, while fostering a safe, caring, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
