We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Technician for our business located in Glebe.
Your duties will include:
- Constructing crowns, bridges, and other customised dental appliances
- Modifying, repairing, and maintaining dental prosthetic devices when required
- Reviewing dental prescriptions, impressions, and digital models to support accurate fabrication
- Communicating with dentists and practice staff regarding technical details and treatment requirements
- Measuring, mixing, and preparing materials such as ceramics, metals, and acrylics for dental applications
- Manufacturing oral appliances including mouthguards, retainers, splints, and orthodontic components
- Utilising laboratory machinery and CAD/CAM technology throughout the production process
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of laboratory work and production processes
- Assessing finished appliances to ensure they meet required standards for fit, appearance, and function
- Performing routine maintenance of laboratory equipment while complying with infection control and WHS procedures
In return you will receive:
- Package: $77,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
- Position: Full time (38 hours a week)
- Ongoing support from our team
Requirements of position
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and at least 1 year of relevant work experience or 3 years of experience to substitute formal qualification
