About the role

Brite Smiles Dental, Georgetown is seeking a part-time Dental Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team in Newcastle, NSW.

As our Dental Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our dental practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated team in a welcoming and professional environment.

Position Details:
• Part-time position – 3–4 days per week
• Roster available either Tuesday–Friday OR Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
• Flexible working arrangements may be discussed for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Scheduling appointments and managing the practice books
• Handling patient enquiries and booking requests over the phone
• Preparing and maintaining patient records and files
• Processing payments and assisting with practice administration
• Supporting the dental team with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in an administration role in a dental setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine focus on patient care
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
• Experience with D4W software preferred but not essential
• A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanour
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following practice protocols
