Data Centre Engineer / Lead Data Centre Engineer


We have (6-Month Contract - Extend) Senior & Lead Data Centre Engineer roles available. 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior & Lead Data Centre Engineers with strong experience in racking & stacking Data Centres.

You will take ownership of critical deployment activities across multiple Data Centre locations, ensuring infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading large-scale rack and stack activities across multiple Data Centre sites
• Coordinating server unboxing, asset staging, rack installation, and commissioning activities
• Managing rack elevation alignment, hardware placement, and deployment standards
• Overseeing structured cabling programs including copper and fibre installation, routing, labelling, and quality assurance
• Supporting GPU infrastructure deployments and high-density compute environments
• Coordinating power provisioning activities and working closely with facilities and infrastructure teams
• Supporting air-cooled and liquid-cooled infrastructure deployments
• Managing vendors, subcontractors, and deployment teams
• Driving project timelines and ensuring delivery milestones are achieved
• Maintaining deployment documentation, asset records, and implementation standards
• Troubleshooting installation and infrastructure issues during deployment phases
• Ensuring adherence to site safety, operational, and compliance requirements

Experience Required:

• Extensive Data Centre deployment experience
• Hands-on Data Centre Infrastructure leader or Engineer
• Strong experience in racking & stacking Data Centres
• Data Centre Hardware Delivery Experience 
• Experience delivering Data Centre upgrades, expansions, or greenfield deployments
• Strong understanding of Data Centre cabling standards and fibre infrastructure
• Experience working with high-density compute, HPC, GPU, or hyperscale environments (ideal)
• Knowledge of Data Centre power, cooling, and critical infrastructure environments
• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams across several Data Centre sites
• Strong vendor, stakeholder, and contractor management skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with aggressive delivery timelines
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Highly Regarded (Not Essential):

• Experience supporting NVIDIA GPU infrastructure deployments
• Experience working with AI, HPC, or large-scale compute environments
• Exposure to liquid cooling technologies
• Experience within hyperscale cloud, colocation, or enterprise Data Centre environments
