About the role
As a member of Council’s technology and business systems environment, this position is required to design and evolve Council’s technology systems landscape, including both internal and community-facing systems, to maximise the value of Council’s investment in business systems and align with organisational strategies and policies.
The Coordinator Business Systems works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external providers and implementation partners to guide the design, configuration, testing and rollout of best practice business systems and solutions. The role plays a key part in shaping future state system architecture, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement across Council’s systems and processes.
This position provides strategic oversight of business systems design and performance, including defining system roadmaps, rationalising applications, and aligning business requirements with effective technical solutions. The role also leads a team to deliver outcomes, supporting staff development, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture, and guiding the organisation through technology-enabled change.
