Chef/Cook Required

Located at 1710 Burwood Highway, Belgrave. Bensons Cafe And Restaurant is currently seeking a qualified Full Time Chef/Cook to join our friendly team. We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, and passionate. In order to qualify for the role, you must have the following :

Responsibilities:

• Performing all food preparation and cooking duties
• Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work late till 9:00 pm and on weekends.
• Maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene to exceed food safety standards.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

• Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
• 1 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Qualifications in commercial cookery- Cert III, Cert IV or higher
• Flexible availability
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Effective communication skills
• Overall knowledge of operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets

Excellent wages and incentives offered to the successful candidate.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 plus super.
