Cook- Full Time 3 Positions

THE GRAND PALACE PTY LTD - AUBURN  is seeking up to three full-time Cooks to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in our kitchen. The ideal candidate(s) will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess a passion for creating delicious meals.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes finalised by the Chef and/or managers
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Ensure food safety standards are met
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dishes
• Assist with inventory management
• Monitor food quality, freshness and consistency 
• Operate and maintain various coking equipment, regulate temperatures for ovens, grills and other appliances.
• Portion food and arrange dishes attractively on plates
• Follow company standards, procedures and special dietary requirement as directed

Qualification & experience

• Previous experience working as a Cook - Minimum 1 years Full Time
• Formal culinary training preferred- Australian Qualifications via studies preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
