Job Description About the Project The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project will double the number of rail tracks and upgrade stations for a 20 kilometre section of the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines between Kuraby, a suburb south of Brisbane’s CBD, and Beenleigh, a suburb of Logan City. Acciona, as part of the ActivUS Alliance, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support the successful delivery of a major rail infrastructure program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark project within a collaborative alliance environment. About the Role: Lead the commercial and contractual management of key work packages Work closely with delivery teams and alliance partners Drive strong commercial outcomes and risk management Key Responsibilities: Lead contract management and administration across major packages Provide commercial advice to leadership and project teams Manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution Identify and mitigate commercial risks Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations Ensure compliance with contracts and alliance frameworks Build strong stakeholder relationships Required Skills and Competencies Relevant Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Law or Commercial 10+ years’ contracts management experience in major infrastructure/construction Strong capability in negotiation, claims, and dispute resolution Proven delivery on complex projects with solid risk and cost management Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and legislation Effective leader with strong stakeholder engagement skills Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities Excellent communication and experience with contract systems/tools Why Join Acciona: Work on a flagship infrastructure project Collaborative alliance environment Focus on sustainability and innovation Strong career growth opportunities Inclusive and supportive team culture Apply Now If you’re ready to take the next step in your contracts career and work on a career-defining project, apply now.
