Contract Administrators prepare, interpret, maintain, review and negotiate variations to contracts on behalf of organisations. In this role, you will manage and oversee all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution. You will work closely with project managers, architects, engineering professionals, and senior management to support successful project delivery.

Task & responsibilities

  • Develops, reviews, and negotiates variations to contracts, programs, projects, and services.
  • Responds to inquiries and resolves problems concerning contracts, programs, projects, services provided, and persons affected.
  • Manages paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects, and services provided.
  • Works collaboratively with project managers, architects, engineering professionals, owners, and others to ensure project goals are met.
  • Advises senior management on matters requiring attention and implements their decisions.
  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts for projects and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of agreements, variations, and correspondence.
  • Support invoicing and payment processes in line with contract terms.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualification & experience

  • Relevant qualification at the level of a Diploma or higher, OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and contract management software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow compliance, WHS and administrative procedures.
  • English language proficiency.
