Turner Piling Systems Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Contract Administrator to support the delivery of construction and piling projects. The role involves coordinating contracts, managing work orders, supporting project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Task & responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Carry out tasks in line with contract requirements to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Contract Coordination: Manage and track project activities, deliverables, and overall progress.
  • Administrative Support: Assist stakeholders and team members by preparing and managing project and work order documentation.
  • Team Leadership & Workforce Planning: Support and coordinate field supervisors, tradespeople, apprentices, and contractors to ensure effective workforce planning.
  • Contract Review & Reporting: Conduct regular project reviews and prepare detailed reports for senior management and executive staff.
  • Scheduling & Work Order Management: Coordinate and prioritise work orders based on urgency, allocate resources effectively, and resolve issues promptly while escalating when required.
  • Contract Monitoring: Maintain and monitor project schedules and plans to ensure contract compliance and timely delivery.
  • Accounts Coordination: Liaise with accounts receivable to support timely invoicing, job completion, and contract close-out.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Perform additional tasks as required to assist the team and maintain clear communication across projects.
  • Problem Solving: Identify issues and report them promptly to senior management while supporting timely resolution.
  • Safety Monitoring: Ensure all safety procedures are followed and actively monitor worksites for potential safety risks.

Qualification & experience

  • Degree or diploma in  Leadership and Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required in the relevant field
  • Understanding of construction contracts
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
