We are now seeking an organised, detail-focused Contract Administrator to join our professional team.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Contract Administrator to join our professional team. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project workflows, accurate documentation, and compliance with Australian building standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and administer subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and internal project documentation
· Prepare, review, process, and track contract variations, claims, and payment applications
· Coordinate closely with internal and external teams to support efficient project delivery and documentation flow
· Maintain accurate project files, including construction drawings, specifications, compliance records, and correspondence
· Assist with project financial checks, month-end reconciliation and reporting
· Prepare meeting minutes, follow up on action items, and maintain clear communication between office and site teams
Skills & Experience
· Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable)
· At least 4 years’ experience in Contract Administration within construction, building, or civil engineering
· Familiarity with residential construction projects, subcontractor management, and contract documentation
· Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
· Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with construction systems is advantageous
· Right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, or valid work visa)
