Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team. The successful candidate will support the analysis of project schedules, identify potential delays, and contribute to the preparation of reports and claims. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A background in construction project delivery, with prior roles in contract administration and a desire to develop into a lead expert; 
  • Consulting with project consultants and other professionals, along with technical trades workers 
  • Interpreting project documentation including contracts, architectural drawings and specifications 
  • Operating and implementing coordinated work programs for sites 
  • Managing teams of client representatives and other professionals to provide advice, prepare project management plans and reality check reports on projects; 
  • Negotiating with client organisations and owners (eg: property developers and client side project managers), and subcontractors to ensure a successful outcome 
  • Managing subcontractor deliverables and standard of work 
  • Site inspections and reporting 
  • Managing and preparing construction claims including variations, extensions of time, disruption claims, acceleration claims and like claims, including performing technical analysis, gathering evidence and drafting technical submissions
  • Developing claims and disputes strategies to meet client objectives; 
  • Drafting contractual correspondence; 
  • Providing contract administration and commercial management advice; 
  • briefing and working with other specialist consultants and legal professional 
  • Assist in the forensic analysis of project schedules and identify critical delays.
  • Support senior analysts in preparing delay analysis reports and presentations.
  • Collect and analyse project data to assess potential claims and disputes.
  • Liaise with project teams to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Utilize planning software (e.g.: Primavera P6, MS Project) as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent degree or at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification
  • Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
