We're currently recruiting for a hands-on Company Accountant to join a fast-growing and dynamic business environment based in Sydney (Zetland) with 2x days wfh.

This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working across a broad finance function and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The role offers exposure across payroll, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, and operational finance support.

Key Responsibilities
 
Manage day-to-day financial transactions and bank reconciliations
Support month-end processes including accruals, journals, and reconciliations
Assist with preparation of monthly management and Board pack reporting
Oversee fortnightly payroll processing, including superannuation, payroll tax, and leave calculations
Manage Accounts Payable processes and supplier payments
Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and other statutory obligations
Support ASIC lodgements and general corporate administration requirements
Drive process improvements across finance operations
Provide ad hoc support across finance and business operations as required
 
About You
 
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Business
CPA or CA qualified / working towards completion
Previous experience across Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Financial Accounting
Strong understanding of accruals, reconciliations, and month-end fundamentals
Experience managing payroll end-to-end within a medium-sized business environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and exposure to accounting systems
