Northern Coalfields Community Care Association Limited (NCCCA) is a not-for-profit provider of residential and community aged care services in the Cessnock local government area. We are seeking passionate and experienced Community Carers who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others within our local community.

 Position Details:

We have both part-time and casual opportunities available

 Part-time

·       Guaranteed 20 hours per week

·       Opportunity to work additional hours based on client needs

 Casual

·       Hours offered based on client demand

 Availability Requirement (all applicants):

·       Must be available Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

·       Flexibility within these hours is essential to meet client needs

 Key Responsibilities:

·       Providing high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes

·       Assisting with daily living tasks including personal care, domestic assistance, community access and meal preparation

·       Supporting clients to maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing

·       Building positive, professional, respectful relationships with clients and their families

 About You:

·       Passionate about supporting people in your local community

·       Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing schedules

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Role Requirements:

·       Certificate III Individual Support (or equivalent)

·       Current driver’s licence

·       Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle

·       Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

·       2026 Influenza Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)

·       Current NSW Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

·       HLTHPS007 Administer and Monitor Medications (desirable)
