The Company

A highly regarded structures/formwork contractor delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager/ Contracts Manager /to join the business.

With a strong pipeline of work secured across Sydney and interstate, this is an opportunity to join a fast-moving contractor involved in major high-rise developments and complex structures packages.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will oversee the commercial management across approximately 5–6 live projects simultaneously.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced subcontractor environment and enjoys taking ownership across multiple jobs.

Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing commercial performance across multiple projects
• Managing subcontractor agreements and scope reviews
• Variations, claims, progress payments and commercial negotiations
• Supporting project delivery teams and site management
• Reviewing project costs, forecasting and risk management
• Working closely with Directors and operational teams
• Interstate travel to Queensland projects as required

About You

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or Commercial Manager within structures, concrete, formwork or large-scale construction
• Able to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
• Comfortable operating autonomously and making decisions
• High level organisation and communication skills
• Wants ownership, responsibility and long-term career growth
