We, Andrews and Rech Pty Ltd, are currently seeking motivated and skilled CNC Machining Centre/Lathe Operators for Fanuc and/or Okuma to join our workforce.

Task & responsibilities
• Operate CNC Machining Centres and/or CNC Lathes (Fanuc and/or Okuma).
• Set up machines, select tooling, and adjust offsets to meet job specifications.
• Perform CNC programming or program edits as required for production.
• Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are kept in optimal working condition.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with supervisors to resolve problems.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow established workflows.
• Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards and safe work practices at all times.
Qualification & experience
• CNC Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-trade.
• Operating and Programming Skills: Proven experience with CNC machines.
• Engineering Drawings: Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• WHS Compliance: Follows Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and safe work practices.
