About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Team Leader to help shape and guide our clinical workforce at headspace Mount Barker.

This is your chance to lead a dedicated team making a genuine difference in the lives of young people, families, and communities through trauma-informed, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision for a multidisciplinary team of clinicians

  • Oversee quality of care and service delivery across therapeutic programs

  • Champion evidence-based, trauma-informed clinical practice

  • Support ongoing staff development, training, and performance reviews

  • Coordinate daily operations, triage referrals, and manage resource allocation

  • Contribute to individual and group therapy sessions where appropriate

  • Drive a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

  • Build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with clinical service providers, internal teams, sister organisations, and community stakeholders.

  • Ensuring a welcoming, professional and client-centred service environment.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work, with current registration with AHPRA or Mental Health Accreditation with the AASW

  • At least 2 years of clinical leadership experience, within mental health settings

  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for team development

  • Proven capacity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic care

  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience

  • A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed practices

  • Experience working with young people and families

  • A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
