About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Claims Manager to join a well-established brokerage in a leadership capacity. This role will see you managing a portfolio of complex commercial claims while overseeing and supporting a team of onshore and offshore claims staff.

The position will suit a senior claims professional who enjoys mentoring staff, improving processes, and managing key client relationships across more complex claims matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex commercial claims
• Oversee and mentor claims staff, including offshore support
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to junior claims professionals
• Handle escalated and corporate claims matters
• Liaise with insurers, brokers, and clients throughout the claims process
• Ensure claims are managed efficiently and in line with service standards
• Support workflow management across the wider claims team

Team Structure

• Team currently consists of 3 claims staff who are all very strong in commercial/sme claims.
• This role will focus more heavily on corporate and complex claims management

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 6 + years’ experience within commercial claims
• Strong technical claims knowledge
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
• Ability to train and develop staff
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A collaborative and hands-on approach
