We're currently looking for a dedicated Claims Advisor to join our Newcastle team, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement available after training.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a portfolio Workers Compensation Claims, ensuring injured workers receive accurate entitlements and ongoing support.
• Review and assess medical, financial, rehabilitation, and investigative reports to make informed claim decisions.
• Apply effective claims management strategies to achieve positive, cost-effective outcomes while prioritising customer wellbeing.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver proactive and timely case management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to injured workers, employers, and legislative authorities while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in Workers Compensation, portfolio claims management, allied health, or a similar customer-focused environment.
• A strong team mindset with a proven ability to build positive relationships and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to build rapport and demonstrate genuine empathy.
• Confidence interpreting complex information and negotiating with a range of stakeholders, including claimants, providers, and internal teams.
• Resilience and professionalism when managing sensitive, complex, and challenging situations.
