Chinese-Speaking Housing Assistant (No Experience Needed – Willing to Train!)

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housing Assistant to join our team! No previous experience is necessary—we provide full training. If you speak Chinese and are fluent in English, and have a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will support property management, assist tenants, and help coordinate maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient housing operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with property inspections and tenant support.

• Respond to and report tenancy issues, including maintenance requests.

• Communicate with tenants and care teams to address concerns.

• Help set up accommodations and assist in property viewings.

• Support the team with compliance, reports, and general administration.

• Work closely with contractors and monitor maintenance tasks.

• Assist the Housing Manager with daily tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English.

• Must have a car and a valid Australian Driver’s License.

• Willingness to learn—no prior experience needed!

• Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).

• NDIS Worker Orientation (or willing to obtain).

• First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain).

Pay: From $25.00 per hour for Full-time/ Part-time, $31.25 for Casual
