We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Child Care Worker to become part of our expanding team. You will be required to provide care and supervision for children in the facility. Moreover, you will also participate in creating the learning programs for children in association with the educators within the childcare centre that reflect children’s interests and support their individual developmental needs.

The position offers a competitive base salary of AUD 69000- 76515 per annum plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

• Support the Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in planning and delivering play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Prepare and organise materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities.
• Plan and facilitate engaging activities, including reading, games, and creative play experiences.
• Supervise children throughout their daily routines, indoor and outdoor play, and recreational activities.
• Ensure children’s health, safety, well-being, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
• Guide children’s behaviour positively and support their social and emotional development.
• Build respectful and supportive relationships with children and their families.
• Maintain accurate observations and documentation of children’s learning, while working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate IV or higher (A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred).
• A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• At least three years of experience working in a Child Care environment.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
