Task & responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
- Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Entertaining children by reading and playing games
- Supervising children in recreational activities
- Supervising the daily routine of children
- Supervising the hygiene of children
- Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
- Communicating effectively with children and parents
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the well-being of all children
Qualification & experience
- Certificate III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Minimum of 12 months full time (38 hours) work experience
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Broome North Childcare is a brand new centre located in the heart of Broome North. Our centre has five classrooms catering for children aged 0 to 6 years old, two playground areas and a seasonal growing garden, which encourage outdoor learning and play.
